Contals is a web app for organizing work on Kanban boards – boards, lists and cards like Trello – made for teams with many projects and many helpers. Volunteers, guests and viewers are free, and the data is stored in the EU. ### Who pays? Only full members – the people who create and organize boards. Volunteers, guests and viewers are free on every plan. Small teams with up to 5 full members use Contals for free (early access; the plans become final before the launch). ### Do volunteers need an app or a password? No app. Contals runs in the browser and can be installed on the home screen. Volunteers accept an e-mail invitation and can sign in with a link instead of a password. ### Where is my data stored? In Cloudflare’s EU jurisdiction: board data, the database, queues and backups; a second, encrypted copy of the backups lies at DigitalOcean in Frankfurt (Germany). Cloudflare is a US company, which we disclose in the privacy policy. ### Can I import my Trello boards? Yes – one board or a whole Trello workspace. The import brings lists, cards, labels, checklists, custom fields, comments, due dates, covers and attachments in a few minutes. Asana, Jira, monday.com, ClickUp, Notion and any spreadsheet work too. ### Can I get my data out again?
