Two Power-Ups of the category Integrations connect a board with the tools your team already uses: **Chat notifications** posts board events to a chat channel, **Links and cloud files** puts links to documents on cards. Board admins switch them on under **Power-Ups**. For everything else there is the [API and MCP server](/docs/en/ai/api/), and boards come in through the [imports](/docs/en/guides/import/).

## Chat notifications

1. In your chat tool, create an incoming webhook for the channel (Slack, Microsoft Teams Workflows, Google Chat or Discord) and copy its address.
2. In Contals: board header → **Power-Ups** → under **Chat notifications**, **Add a chat channel** → choose the **Chat**, paste the **Webhook address**, give it a **Name**.
3. Choose what to **Send** – **New cards**, **Moved cards**, **Completed cards**, **Comments**, **Due tomorrow** – and the **Language of the messages**.
4. **Send a test** and check the **Delivery log**.

The webhook address is stored encrypted and only ever shown masked. After repeated failures a channel switches itself off and says why. Changes made by imports stay silent.

## Links and cloud files

Open a card → **Add a link** → paste a link to Google Drive, Docs or Sheets, OneDrive or SharePoint, Box, Dropbox, Evernote, GitHub, GitLab, Zendesk, Salesforce, Figma or YouTube (any other link works too). Contals recognizes the service and the kind of item from the address and shows a preview; the card shows how many links it has.

Nothing is sent to the provider – the preview comes from the address alone, so people still need access to the file at the provider to open it. Contals does not store files itself yet.
